Resident Evil 4 is scary to play?

I play Resident Evil 4 and I played it once, and I only got to the part where u spy on the village. It is a great game and I love it, but it's in my basement, which I hate, and I was scared to play the game. I mean, I really want badly, but I'm playing really scared, because I nightmares. Help?
