Question about resident evil 5 and resident evil degeneration movie?
I want to know if the plot from the game and the movie can somehow be connected, something tells me the movie was just to introduce the existence of “TRICELL Inc”
Can both plots be connected??
Does anybody know if they will release another movie, or that’s it, no more??

I only watched the movie once (let a friend borrow it the day after I watched it and I haven’t gotten it back yet) but I don’t remember there being anything in the movie that can really be connected to 5. It didn’t involve Chris or anyone else from 5 at all. The movie was basically to show what Leon and Claire have been up to. I believe it was said to take place 7 years after Raccoon, which would be 1 year after Resident Evil 4.
I don’t remember them necessarily mentioning when 5 takes place. I assume it’s present day, which (if assuming it’s in ‘09) would be 11 years after the initial outbreak that Chris and Jill dealt with.
In terms of in-game story and a timeline, you can read the file in Resident Evil 5, the History of Resident Evil (I think that’s what it’s called), but the movie isn’t mentioned at all.
I thought I’d read somewhere that they planned on doing other CGI movies, but I can’t remember where I read it. It may have been retracted at this point.
