Resident Evil 4 vs 5?

This isn’t a which game should I buy thread. I liked RE4 a lot so I just want to know how re5 is in comparison. I know they have the same basic gameplay, but how does it compare in terms of longetivity, replayability, story, scariness and anything else you can think of

They’re both really good games, it’s just that 5 doesn’t seem as fresh as 4. It even borrows a lot of the same set pieces and has a lot of enemies whose character models are ripped straight from 4. I’d definitely buy the game though, there’s a lot of replayability to it. Once you beat the game you can get infinite ammo for any gun you’ve fully upgraded, so you keep replaying the game to unlock it for every weapon. Plus there are four difficulty settings to keep you busy. Mercenaries is back too, so that will keep you going for a good while as well.
