Is there an easy mode in Resident Evil 4 for ps2?

if so whats the difference between the normal mode and the easy mode

Yes there is an easy mode on ps2.

One difference is that on the harder levels the enemies are a lot more aggressive and don`t give you as much time to deal with them before they are upon you.

On normal and pro they take more hits to kill as well.

On easy there are a few areas in the castle level that you don`t visit which you do in normal difficulty.
