Why won’t the Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 die?

You pump it full of all of the ammo in the game it gets back up. You run it over with a train it still survives. You burn it with acid it is still alive. You crush it with a trash compactor it still won’t die. Even after you shoot it 3 times with a rail gun, somehow it survives. I always had my doubts if it died in the nuclear explosion that destroyed Raccoon city. So why won’t it die?

It won’t die because of it’s regeneration ability. Also, the game/movie would be much less interesting if he died easily.
I believe he died when Raccoon City was nuked. If he wasn’t, Umbrella would have quickly sent in a team to destroy it, so their secret wouldn’t get out (which it did anyway because of the survivors)
