Why are some video games sold with a USB flash drive?
In the limited editions of some video games, they come with a USB flash drive. What is the point of this?
Some games I know of that come with one are:
Saints Row 2 (bullet shaped usb)
Sims 3 (Sims Plumbob logo shaped)
Resident Evil 5 Japan (virus capsule)
if the game system has a USB port, it could be just so you can save your game to the usb port at home. take it with you to a friends house, and play it on thier system without having to start over.
other’s may just be a gimmick. “buy this game and get a jumpdrive FREE!!!”
