How Can I play Resident Evil 1 and 2 for PC on Vista?
I already have the image of both games, but my problems with each game are:
I can’t install properly RE1, I was able to run the installer, but then it asks me to install directx3a or something like that, but I already installed it but it tells me the same error every time I try to install the game again.
I was able to install RE2, but the only problem I have is that every time that there’s a Full Motion Video, I can hear it but nothing appears on screen.

It may be that the game isn’t compatible with Vista, or that your computer cannot handle the current graphics level, although I doubt it to be the second.
You can search this website to confirm that though.

If it is compatibility, then you can right click the game’s application (or a shortcut will do) and click Properties>Compatibility> change the “run in” to an older version of Windows, for example XP, 98 or whatever.
This is often the case with Vista and older games, for example Dungeon Keeper etc.
However, if you are running Vista x64 (Ultimate) then this probably won’t work for you anyway and you need to download an operating system emulator. Google that one
